Try with the drive you want to use for booting from first. Once that's working add other resources.That's a drive used for storage, also self charged. That one is mounted on fstab.
I've tried booting with it disconnected as well, no dice.
What I haven't tried was booting without the SD, since it tries USB first, then SD.
Can give that a go.
