I was not sure what to try, so I make another fresh install os the 2023-12-05 version and started to install one by one the 223 packages that are goint to be upgraded; I installed one (with its dependencies) and then rebooted . The USB drive was plugged the whole time, and it was not recognized after installing linux-libc-dev. I tested all the other dependencies and thats the one that causes the problem. If I try to update that package this is the output:
So now I have to read about every one of them to see which one exactly is causing the problem. I also need to understand what does linux-libc-dev do in the first place in order to do something like holding it and never updating it.
Either way, hope someone can help me with this.
