Any help sincerely appreciated!
I am trying to get an official 7 inch Touchscreen display working with a new Raspberry PI 5 board.
I am using a display adaptor cable.
The PI is powered using the official power supply.
I have powered the display with a direct 5v USB cable and also tried the GPIO red and black power.
The board worked initially for a few times but since then, I am not getting anything, no backlight, no screen display.
This same issue happened with a separate touchscreen display, so I'm worried I'm doing something wrong (and potentially harmful to the display).
Any ideas appreciated!
