As the OP said. When I plug my monitor in after the Raspberry Pi 5 has booted there is a blank (black) display with a mouse cursor visible. There is no desktop, window or taskbar. So I can literally right-click anywhere on the screen. Right-clicking brings up the menu from labwc that has the two options explained above. Selecting "Exit" allow me to get to the greeter screen and log in.Can you tell "right click" on what ? The desktop ? A window ? The taskbar ?I have been seeing this for a long time.
This ""Reconfigure" and "Exit" menu comes from labwc.
We shouldn't see that but I suspect it goes with the many issues we have had lately with pcmanfm which is in charge of managing the desktop. I also had errors where this menu appeared...
Is it always or just sometimes ?
Please give as much details as you can...
I have had the same menu appearing but only after pcmanfm had crashed and the desktop was not reloaded correctly.
If you have it regularly there might be something broken in your setup. We should not see this menu
