I have a Pi 5 with a 52pi HAT that supports M.2 NVMe SSD plus 2.5G Ethernet, connected to a 2.5GBE switch. When copying between other machines with 2.5GBE and the NVMe disk I get just over 300Mb/sec throughput, so pretty much the full speed of the Ethernet connection. The HAT does require its own power supply in addition to the power supply for the Pi5.I have a Netgear 8-port 2.5Gb switch. Can the Pi 5 16GB model give me higher than 1Gb speeds with a 2.5 USB adapter?
