The output from dmesg shows that the drive was detected correctly

Code:

[ 961.947492] usb-storage 1-1.1.2:1.0: USB Mass Storage device detected[ 961.950791] scsi host0: usb-storage 1-1.1.2:1.0[ 962.956153] scsi 0:0:0:0: Direct-Access USB SanDisk 3.2Gen1 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 6[ 962.957248] sd 0:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg0 type 0[ 962.958848] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] 60125184 512-byte logical blocks: (30.8 GB/28.7 GiB)[ 962.959961] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Write Protect is off[ 962.959980] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Mode Sense: 43 00 00 00[ 962.960429] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Write cache: disabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA[ 962.970039] sda: sda1[ 962.973773] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Attached SCSI removable disk
In lsusb, I assume the device is this one?

Code:

Bus 001 Device 011: ID 0781:5581 SanDisk Corp. Ultra
df shows that the partition /dev/sda1 hasn't been mounted.

So what happens if you try to mount it?
