The same unpleasant thing happens with pure Debian 13 actually. So it's not a RaspiOS thing I guess
That is indeed the case I think. The difference is, I want more logging, OP less. I simply add loglevel=7 to cmdline for all sorts of (virtual) computers usually and that level was reset/changed by an rpt setting. And I am not sure what OP means by 'console'. Can be serial cable console for initial setups or HDMI console for normal use. If CLI via ssh, what I do mainly, you won't be bothered by those kernel messages, but they are stored in journal (if Debian default journal-ling).
