Can anyone suggest a reliable 2TB SSD that is Pi5 compatible.
My understanding is you have 1.6 TB of data on a 5.6 TB array that you want to mirror.

I think there is no use in having a 5.6 TB array if no more than 1.6 TB will ever be stored there, so I will assume more will be stored over time. In this case no 2 TB mirror will ever be reliable because it will run out of capacity.

It seems you might do better with a 12 to 24 TB disc to store incremental backups of the NAS. For example, maybe get an externally powered USB drive and plug it into the Pi.
