Weird, the ST7789VW datasheet on page 43 "7.4.2 Serial Interface Characteristics (3-line serial):" says:
It would be rather unusual for this kind of display chip to demand a maximum for such timing specs.
"Requires". Hmmm. So they are actually overclocking -- perhaps driven by a general desire to update the display quickly.
