[*]Added Stop Waydroid menu launcher, as you suggested.
[*]Ensured that the main Waydroid menu launcher would never be hidden by waydroid anymore.
[*]Improved the Google device registration flow to make it more robust and understandable. This was already present in the earliest script version, so I'm not sure how you missed it, but further testing showed it was malfunctioning so I fixed that.
[*]Added a prompt in the uninstall script to ask if user data and apps should be deleted, rather than doing it silently.
[*]Mentioned in the description your tip for changing touchscreens to multi-touch mode.

Here's the dialog that you should have seen when first installing Waydroid, assuming you chose to use the Android version with Google apps.

1. So yeah originally before your fixes the g app part never went through the install would fail. Then I would run your script again and it would say successful and then I would be able to get into Android but had to figure out how to register g certification on my own. As the dialog never showed for me prior to your fix.

2.Thanks for making so that the uninstall script doesn’t uninstall everything and prompts you. Before it would nuke everything which was nice when trying it out first couple times . I was scared when your app updated waydroid with your updates and said uninstall I was like 😬 I hope I don’t have to start over.

3 as update to my testing the Udev true changes for usb works great even for Bluetooth controllers once it’s turned on. I was able to use usb controllers and pair a Bluetooth controllers into raspberry pi OS and the waydroid would see the PlayStation 4 controller. Making it a great way to get games and emulators going in the g play apps store. I understand it was defaulted off because of you did some sketchy testing your could install malicious android app especially if you go vanilla android and start install random apps.

4. Waydroid stop is great because then you can fully shut down waydroid freeing up ram without having to do a full reboot or pi OS and it ensures you don’t screw up the Android instance. Would suck to shut down and you didn’t have saved work 😂 . Using the Android built in shut down doesn’t fully shut down somthing remains running even though ram is freed. So I looked up that many people were creating shortcuts to kill the instance allowing them to reboot the waydroid container without having to reboot whole os if your working on somthing.

5. The waydroid instance works great with raspberry pi touch screen and if you have second monitor hooked up you can essentially run pi OS with some waydroid apps and waydroid on the touch screen. Takes getting used to but overall very impressive even on 4gb ram.

6 I would make it mandatory (highly recommended) to use zram (more ram) if you’re using a 4gb pi 4 or 5. Running waydroid and like one game or other app your up to any where from 2gb to 4gb ram. 8gb could be optional for z ram but would be good to have a prompt as Suggestion to install especially if they want to get more headroom for games. Example Rush Rally 3 can crash on my 4gb ram pi 4 even with zram on. I would have to close all other apps piOS and close all other Android apps.

7. Noticed there is an open gl limitation with lot of games since pi 4&5 only goes up to OpenGL ES 3.1. Many games require vulkan or OpenGL ES 3.2 and higher. Not a total bad news but as word of warning retro arch emulators will work but not all games support open gl below 3.2. Thus testing before you buy games is a must. It’s super cool though that most of my games work as you see in my list. I’ll update my post of a list of game not compatible due to vulkan or open GL requirements.

But yeah love the work on this one. It’s superbly done. I think your going to get a ton of new users now that you have streamlined Android installing.
