I turned on the HomeAssistant matter stack and the matter bridge, never again. All hell let loose as Alexa tried to add the world of Matter devices I now 'had'. ![:lol:]( "Laughing")
Sonoff had local control for a while, pretty sure my basic switch over years ago and I hope that can make a go of this, they probably need to team up with others to gain traction or even have an app on a phone with a matter/thread usb adaptor as more people may be likely to set it up.
Anything to get away from the hell hole the people (Tuya/Smartlife/ewelink, merros/Govee/...) seem to think the app to control a few things should also be a social media platform, overly crowded and hard to look at, a shop, remind you for everything. Need to log in again when you really don't want need it to ask you, bonus coins, banners, artwork features, competitions... FFS.
