Maybe if it needs to be Raspberry, but note that various alternative ARM64 boards can be connected directly to 12V (something between 5 to 20 actually). Also lower lithography, so easier longer runtime.I'd use a Pi4 for that. It's a much easier platform power wise. Nothing that can't be overcome on a Pi5, but there's loads of threads on here of people with problems.
