Hello, I have a raspberry pi 5 that I have used on and off for months now but as of 2 hours ago, it shutoff suddenly and no longer turns on. The power status indicator light does not light up red or green when connected to power.
The only thing that is different from when I used it in the past is that I am using a new display specifically a Hosyond 7 inch DSI Display. I got the display a few days ago and connected it to the PI and got it working and was using it for a couple days without any problems.
The only reason why I mention the new display is because that is the only thing that has changed since I got the PI 5.
I have tried using another power supply that provides the same voltage and current as the raspberry pi power supply, i've tried using the HDMI port instead of the new display, and I have tried reinstalling the OS using the pi imager on the SD card (the PI does not power up when the SD card is not installed either).
I have messaged customer support with the issue before this but wanted to ask this here as well.
Does anyone have anything that could possibly help? Or is my PI 5 dead?
Thank you
