I just got my first Raspberry Pi 5, and I would like to try other OS options besides the OS that came on the 128gb SD card.
I read a guide on how to write an OS to an SD card using RSP Imager, but it seems I need a whole second SD card? In Imager, the inserted SD card with my current OS is not an option as a destination (even when I uncheck "exclude system drives"). I guess it makes sense that I can't write to the active SD card, but it also seems like a bumber to have to buy another card that I likely won't use, just to switch my OS and possibly just switch back.
So yeah, let me know if there's any possible way to get a new OS on my current SD, or if I should just go out and buy a second one. Thanks!
