Respectfully, you question my claim to have originally backed first gen pi was equally arrogant, offensive and confrontational. That was uncalled for so no need to get sensitive when I keep the same energy.
And didn’t need to know about your 11000 post to know your devout fanboy. I don’t understand what your deal is are you jealous I may have supported the project before you ?
Respectfully I hope in your other 10000 msg in this forum your not mean spirited and helpful.
Best of luck.
As for the pi engineer thank you for your offer of support but I’m not interested in spending anymore time on this matter and providing free bug report. I was expressing my unboxing experience before the local fanboys got their feelings in a bunch.
I was mere stating that if these monitor issues are having decent amount issues with users, it would be wise for pi imager to give warning notes. Instead of having customers have to go through the forum. Especially as pi is getting more commercial and charging high prices.
And for the pd gan charger it’s Anker 65 nano.

My monitor is Samsung M7 smart tv monitor , it’s not some obscure unknown brand . Really feels like pi software punting the software support work even while charging premium.
Let’s see how this post ages… once the fanboys move on the people that are neutral and weight in and we can see if I was just too stupid to run embedded sbc or if the pi support is inadequate.
You do realise just how offensive, arrogant, and confrontational that second paragraph is? Hardly objective or neutral.
And I'll say it again. I am not a fanboy. Though I do appear to be more aware of the history, aims, and constraints of RPF/RPL than you do. And am more capable of a neutral tone.
