Very cool! Out of curiosity: Which logic analyzer is this, at 1 GS/s capture rate?

I think you well deserve a straight answer.
It's an officially overclocked (100->125 MHz base clock, 800->1000 MS/s) Digital Discovery with high speed probes.
It can do the following rates:
8 channels: 800/1000 MS/s
16 channels: 400/500 MS/s
32 channels: 200/250 MS/s
40 channels: 100/125 MS/s

The high speed inputs (24) are rated at "100+" MHz, well... I've got 300 MHz clock signal clearly read before starting to lose/glitch signal.
The other 8+8 "low" speed lines (rated at only "100" without plus) are bidirectional, they start to struggle above 200 MHz with bare wire probes...
