I have to agree. It's one of those cases where "if you have to ask you shouldn't be doing it".Don't do this !
Or more correctly "if you are asking here you are asking in the wrong place".
But assuming you are going to do it regardless - Appropriate safety goggles, heat resistant gloves, mechanical key operated lock-out switches, emergency shut-off mechanism, adopting safe working and operating practices, knowing the relevant laws and regulations, having the appropriate qualifications, certifications and licenses, and having comprehensive insurance to cover your own and other party's deaths and any damage done would be at the top of my list of recommendations
