I basically just need guidance if the wiring set up looks correct, or if i should make necessary adjustments.

So, I take it you don't want to just plug it into the GPIO PINS since this is HAT correct?

What more do you need than the manufacturers instructions on which pins on the HAT to connect to which GPIO pins on the PI?
