I'd have preferred them to delete everything on the slower APB splitter and just add however many more PIOs you can manage in the same area on the fast AHB port.RP2350-bus-fabric.gifI think there are more 'targets', the switching fabric being quite well provisioned, as it's said in networking.
PSRAM could be much better on separate QSPI interface. Also maybe PIOs are a little bit squeezed although just for extreme cases.
