a what?

Sorry, but what are you asking for: Subject line says Pi5, in the text you refer to CM4

What you you want to 'control'? You either let your overlay start a driver for a CSI (camera) on the Pi5's CAM/DISP0/1 or one for a DSI (Display) device.

J16 is DISP1 on a CM4IO --> it is a 4-lane DSI (ONLY) interface.
Would recommend you doing some more research and then rephrase your question so it demoes more clear.

NOTE: DSI is not as simple as just connecting and it will work! There is some decent knowledge needed for getting a random DSI display working.
Thank you for your reply.
Since there is no pin define for DISP 0 and DISP 1 of Pi5 on the official website, I saw in the discussion forum that DISP0 and DISP1 of Pi5 need to refer to the pin definition of J16 of CM4.

However, DISP 0 and DISP 1 of Pi5 are bidirectional ports.
I want to confirm that if I choose DISP0 or DISP1 to connect to MIPI LCM, can I just refer to the J16 pin definition of CM4 to connect to LCM?
